Pete “Repeat Business Boy” Marquis is not what they call him, but it could be. Pete has been pumping out regular hits for Snickers and BBDO NY as well as five straight annual Coors Lite spots and other trouble for Mischief USA. Like many great commercial directors before him, Pete started his creative life as a Copywriter (at Wieden + Kennedy) before moving out of video village and into the director’s chair. At first it was just so he’d have more control over the catering options on set, but pretty soon he learnt that he is really really very good at directing comedy commercials.
